KlebNET Genomic Surveillance Platform Tools
Intended audience
The workshop is intended for bioinformaticians, researchers or clinical microbiologists who perform hands-on bioinformatics activities in their daily routine and are likely to use the KlebNET tools shortly after the KLEBS-2024 symposium. Young colleagues and individuals from low- and middle-income countries are particularly encouraged.
Prerequisites
Attendees are expected to be reasonably familiar with the Klebsiella-specific tools Kleborate and Kaptive, and with the on-line genomic epidemiology and nomenclature platforms Pathogenwatch and BIGSdb-Pasteur, including genotyping schemes such as MLST and cgMLST.
E.g. you should be familiar with basic use of KlebNet GSP tools as described in these online workshop materials:
Attendees should bring their own laptop, please let organizers know if this is not possible as we can provide a small number. Wifi will be available via Eduroam or Institut Pasteur visitor network. You may want to bring your own data (Klebsiella pneumoniae species complex genomes) for analysis.
